Rick Clements is the Chief Marketing Officer of Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), bringing more than 20 years of marketing leadership experience. He directs the company’s branding and marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with SPA’s business objectives while overseeing all corporate marketing and communications functions and helping to strengthen a cohesive company culture.

Prior to joining SPA, Mr. Clements previously held executive roles that shaped global marketing strategy for IBM’s big data and analytics portfolio and served as CMO at Novetta, where he built the firm’s marketing function in the advanced analytics government contracting space. He also served as Vice President of Communications for Allscripts’ Client Delivery and Solutions Division, a 4,000-person, $1 billion business unit, and most recently was Vice President of Marketing at WhizAI, a leader in generative AI–powered analytics. Before transitioning into high-tech marketing, Mr. Clements was an officer and flight test engineer in the U.S. Air Force and a SETA contractor.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech.
