Pete Gaaserud

Peter Gaaserud is Senior Vice President of Contracts, Procurement, and Quality at Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA). He brings 30 years of experience in the federal government professional services market and has a strong record of leading technical operations and functional support organizations. He oversees SPA’s corporate quality programs, export compliance, contract and subcontract administration, purchasing, and small business initiatives.

Prior to joining SPA, Mr. Gaaserud held multiple senior leadership roles at Engility Corporation, including Vice President of Supplier Management—responsible for more than $500 million in annual purchasing—Vice President of Account Operations, managing over 300 personnel supporting $2 billion in annual revenue, and Vice President of Strategic Pricing, where he led pricing strategy and proposal development. He also held division-level operational leadership roles with mid-sized companies such as High Performance Technologies Inc., Dynamics Research Corporation, and PEC Solutions, managing profit & loss, business development, and integration activities tied to mergers and acquisitions involving 100 to 10,000 personnel.

Mr. Gaaserud holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic University and a Master of Business Administration from George Mason University.
