General Ron Keys retired from the U.S. Air Force after more than 40 years of service, during which he commanded eight operational, staff, and international organizations. His final assignment was Commander of Air Combat Command, then the Air Force’s largest major command, where he oversaw the organization, training, and readiness of combat forces and led the stand-up of the Air Force’s first Remotely Piloted Vehicle Wing and first Network Warfare Wing. General Keys holds a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University and is a command pilot with over 4,000 fighter flight hours. He has long consulted for SPA, providing operational insight for OSD initiatives and pilot experience studies for Air Combat Command. He also leads RK Solution Enterprises, advising DoD and commercial clients on technology, energy, strategy, and policy.
General Keys serves as Chair of CNA’s Advisory Board on DoD, Energy and Climate Change and sits on the Center for Climate and Security Advisory Board, the Embry-Riddle Board of Trustees, and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition’s National Security Advisory Council.
