Fast, trusted access to specialized R&D across defense, cyber, and homeland security.

The Defense Technical Information Services’ Information Analysis Center (DTIC IAC) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) supports research and development (R&D) services across 22 highly specialized focus areas. Each focus area is mapped to one of three primary domain areas: defense systems, cybersecurity and information systems, and homeland defense and security. IAC MAC is available to DoD and US government agencies at all levels (federal, state, and local).

Why DTIC IAC MAC?

Ease of use:

  • The IAC MAC customer support cell provides dedicated assisted acquisition and requirements development support to each user at no additional cost.

Low customer shared direct cost (CSDC):

  • IAC MAC’s current CSDC is 0.6%*, far below the industry average. It includes end-to-end pre/post award support (requirements, contracts, financial, surveillance).

Rapid award:

  • 4.5 months average time from solicitation to award. *FY 26 provisional rate.

Flexible contract structure:

  • Up to 60 months of task order period of performance
  • No minimum or maximum ordering value
  • Supports CPFF, FFP, and FFP LOE contract types, as well as hybrids
  • Accommodates classified requirements up to TS/SCI
  • Enables CONUS and/or OCONUS performance locations, to include OCO

Maximized value:

  • As an S&T program, IAC MAC provides continuous research analysis support to all TOs and facilitates reuse of research findings and technical information generated to accelerate similar research across DoD.

Ease of collaboration:

  • Users can quickly add co-funders with in-scope research requirements to a TO.
