Christina Snyder is a Senior Cost Analyst and Project Technical Lead in Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA)’s Sea, Land, Air Division, where she delivers highly regarded acquisition cost estimating and analytic support across multiple DOW programs. As a Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst, she brings expertise in business case analysis, analysis of alternatives, should-cost assessments, acquisition planning, risk analysis, life-cycle cost estimating, logistics analysis, and budget drills. She specializes in evaluating state-of-the-art programs with significant risks and uncertainties, helping decision makers understand all cost drivers and providing detailed trade-off and what-if analyses to support data-driven decisions.
As SPA’s Cost Estimation and Analysis Fellow, Ms. Snyder serves as a technical thought leader, advancing SPA’s analytic capabilities and strengthening integration between cost estimation and related disciplines across the company. She is also President of the International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Board of Directors, where she teaches courses, mentors junior analysts, and supports certification pathways.
Ms. Snyder has authored and presented numerous papers on cost estimating topics and has been featured in several industry publications. Her awards include two ICEAA “Best Paper” honors, the ICEAA Association Service Award, and NAVAIR PM-202’s Aircrew Systems Team Member of the Year Award. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computational Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
