Christina Snyder is a Senior Cost Analyst and Project Technical Lead in the Sea, Land, Air Division, providing highly regarded acquisition cost estimating for SPA’s clients.
She is a Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst who has supported multiple DOD programs with various aspects of cost analysis, project management, and strategic planning. Her expertise includes business case analysis, analysis of alternatives, should-cost analysis, acquisition planning, risk assessment, life cycle cost estimates, budget drills, and logistics analysis.
Christina analyzes the cost of state-of-the-art programs that face unique risks and uncertainties to understand all factors that could influence cost throughout the life cycle. She provides decision makers with trade-off and what-if analyses to help ensure their decisions are informed and data driven.
Christina serves as President of the International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Board of Directors. Among other duties with ICEAA, her involvement includes teaching courses and assisting junior analysts with certification requirements.
As the Fellow for Cost Estimation and Analysis, Christina serves as a thought leader, identifying and pursuing new ways to guide the development of SPA’s technical capabilities. One of her significant goals as a Fellow is to gain a greater understanding of the cost-adjacent work that SPA is performing company wide and understand the unique challenges that our customers are facing.

Christina has presented papers on various cost estimating topics and been featured in several cost estimating-related publications. Her awards include “Best Paper” by ICEAA (twice), the ICEAA Association Service Award, and the Aircrew Systems Team Member of the Year Award from NAVAIR PM-202.
Christina has a B.S. in applied computational mathematics from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA.
