SPA is “Going Green!” We are growing, and while growth enables opportunities for career advancement and movement within the company, it also increases our environmental footprint and our social responsibilities in the community.
SPA is “Going Green!” We are growing, and while growth enables opportunities for career advancement and movement within the company, it also increases our environmental footprint and our social responsibilities in the community.
The goal of our Go Green Initiative is to increase awareness of our environment within the SPA family and to help make our communities from coast to coast better and greener and healthier for us all.
SPA’s efforts include providing education and resources to help make our employees aware of everyone’s responsibility for preserving our natural environment.
We are excited to see our program evolve with increased participation by employees and their family members in conservation efforts, recycling, and other sustainability programs. This includes SPA’s adopt-a-block, adopt-a-highway, and other environmental clean-up programs across the country, as well as electronic recycling events, and employee participation in bike to work days. As program coordinator James Smiley Richardson says, “Many hands make light work.”
