Recent Highlights
SPA’s Giving Spirit through Angel Tree Project
SPA’s Young Professionals Group (YPG) supported the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program, which aims to provide gifts for hundreds of thousands of children with the assistance of anonymous donors.
This year, our Employee Resource Group collected gifts for 36 children! This initiative truly reflects SPA’s spirit of giving back to our community.
SPA VETS Drive Brings Warmth and Joy This Holiday Season
This holiday season, SPA VETS, our Veterans Employee Resource Group, embodied the spirit of giving by leading two meaningful initiatives: the Salvation Army’s “Share the Warmth, Coats for Kids and the Needy” drive and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots drive.
SPA employees across all our DC Metro locations generously contributed to making a tangible difference in our community. We look forward to ongoing opportunities to serve and uplift others!

Employee Resource Groups
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups whose aim is to provide support, enhance career development, and contribute to personal development in our work environment while fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace. The purposes and goals of each ERG are aligned with the shared characteristics or life experiences of the populations they serve. SPA’s ERG co-chairs communicate with senior leadership to offer insights and generate ideas to produce a more inclusive environment.
SPA has four active ERGs: Multicultural Excellence, Recognition, and Individual Talent (MERIT), SPA VETS, Young Professionals Group (YPG), and Women’s Initiative for Networking and Knowledge (WINK).
Embraces and amplifies the voices of the various cultures that make up SPA and enables networking, connection, and mentoring for career development while fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Supports our veteran, Reserve, and National Guard community by empowering our vets through inspiring stories, valuable resources, networking opportunities, and insights from fellow veterans.
Fosters communication and growth among its members and the company and provides insight into the overall mindset and priorities of the younger generation of professionals to company leadership.
Provides insight into women’s experiences at SPA and promotes discussion on women’s priorities and issues to foster community and growth. Generates ideas for producing a more inclusive environment.
