Peter Gaaserud has 30 years of experience in the Federal Government Professional Services market, where he has led growth and leadership of technical operations and functional support organizations.

Pete Gaaserud is SPA’s Sr. Vice President of Contracts, Procurement, and Quality. He is currently responsible for corporate Quality, Export Compliance, Contract and Subcontract Administration, Purchasing, and Small Business programs at SPA.

Prior to joining SPA, Mr. Gaaserud held multiple leadership positions at Engility Corporation, including Vice President of Supplier Management, where he was responsible for over $500 million in annual purchasing; Vice President of Account Operations, where he managed over 300 personnel performing project control, contract/subcontract administration, and security supporting $2 billion in annual revenue; and Vice President of Strategic Pricing, where he led pricing strategy and proposal development.

Mr. Gaaserud also held division-level operational leadership positions managing P&L and business development for mid-sized companies, including High Performance Technologies Inc., Dynamics Research Corporation, and PEC Solutions.  Mr. Gaaserud has supported integration activities associated with mergers and acquisitions of organizations from 100 to 10,000 personnel. 

Mr. Gaaserud holds a B.A. in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic University and an MBA from George Mason University.
