Chad Materniak's expertise includes strategic planning for support services, application and network architectures, information management, and governance principles for IT environments deployed across the globe and at multiple classification levels.

Chad Materniak is the Chief Information Officer at Systems Planning & Analysis, responsible for overseeing all aspects of Information Technology and Cybersecurity.

During his 15-year tenure with SPA, Mr. Materniak has held technical roles performing operations research, engineering, and software development duties in support of Navy, Coast Guard, NASA, and Australian Defence Force clients. Starting as IT Director in 2018, Mr. Materniak’s responsibilities included oversight of SPA’s catalog of models, tools, and software products as the corporate Software and Intellectual Property Program Manager.

Mr. Materniak holds a bachelor of science degree in Physics from the University of Delaware and a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Virginia.
