Amy Mijas has more than twenty years of leadership experience in developing work concentrated within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Navy, and Joint Staff markets. Ms. Mijas is experienced in acquisition planning and support, business process improvements and reengineering, economic analysis, DoD budget and financial management, program management, and congressional policy.

Ms. Mijas serves as Director of the Joint, OSD, Interagency Division at SPA, which provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. Ms. Mijas is responsible for developing and implementing growth market strategy, capability evolution, customer engagement, business operations, and staff development. Her division provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to assist customers in making informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

Prior to joining SPA, Ms. Mijas worked at Northrop Grumman serving as Program Manager for the Navy Radars Directorate contract and providing financial management and legislative support across numerous Navy radar programs.

Ms. Mijas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Bonaventure University. Ms. Mijas also holds a master’s degree in international economics from The American University.

Ms. Mijas earned a Certified Defense Finance Manager certification from the American Society of Military Comptrollers.
