SPA Chief of Staff
Aimee Dalton has over 20 years of experience supporting the DoD.
Ms. Dalton is Chief of Staff for the President at SPA. In this role, she manages daily operations, facilitates communications across departments, oversees special initiatives, and assists in strategic planning and decision support. She also strengthens the support of training programs, technology insertion, and the dynamics of future mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to becoming Chief of Staff, Ms. Dalton was a division director at SPA, specializing in the support of diverse national security clients with interests in the Maritime domain, including Australian and Canadian Defense Forces. She provided timely, objective, and analytic assessments of clients’ challenges and delivered models, analyses, strategies, plans, and policies that addressed current and emerging issues in national security.
Ms. Dalton distinguished herself as an exceptional group leader prior to becoming a division director. She led her group in supporting the Navy’s Fleet Ballistic Missile program for the Trident II (D5) Missile, Missile Electronics Life Extension, and Conventional Prompt Strike. She was also responsible for supporting Department of Defense-wide assessments of specific threats to US assets and identifying R&D priorities to counter these threats for the US Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs.
Ms. Dalton holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Baltimore.
Ms. Dalton is certified as a Defense Finance Manager by the American Society of Military Comptrollers and a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
