Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), a leading global provider of advisory services in support of critical national security objectives, celebrates the achievements of Chief Information Officer (CIO) Chad Materniak, recently featured in WashingtonExec’s “Top CIO Execs to Watch in 2025.”
Chad joined SPA in 2009 as an Assistant Program Manager and has steadily and significantly influenced the evolution of SPA’s departments, functions, and processes since then. Chad and his team refreshed SPA’s information technology strategy and technology roadmap to align with the objectives of the leadership team and facilitate key capabilities to enable the continued growth of the business.
Previous iterations of the strategy were tailored toward a 500-person organization focused on a limited capability set and a smaller subset of clients. The revised strategy accounts for SPA’s capabilities after several acquisitions, substantial organic growth, an international footprint, and a significantly diversified client base.
